Deeper Dialogue: The Basics of Bullous Disease Taught Using Case Reviews and Management

In this two-part series of lectures on bullous dermatoses, Dr. Feldman will provide information on the basics of the disease outlined through the use of a case review. The first lecture, titled “Basics of Bullous Disease,” will provide an overview of clinical presentations, discussions of appropriate diagnostic workup, and updated therapeutic strategies. The second lecture, titled “A Focus on Case Review and Management,” will focus on specific cases to illustrate related concepts in a more interactive setting. After listening to both sessions, attendees will have gained the skills to:
- Identify clinical presentation for common bullous diseases.
- Identify potential triggers and common comorbidities.
- Recognize appropriate biopsy techniques and lab orders.
- Strategize and identify appropriate treatment options for management.
