The cannabis therapeutic landscape is changing rapidly with new articles appearing in dermatology journals nearly every month. Douglas DiRuggiero explores the historical and more recent data on the role and impact of cannabinoids in dermatology, with an emphasis on inflammatory skin disorders. Having a basic understanding of the pathophysiology of cannabinoids, their potential impact on various dermatological disorders and the controversies surrounding this topic will be examined and discussed.
